India remains one of the world’s densest BPO delivery markets. That density creates both opportunity and regulatory gravity: high-volume predictive programmes can transform talk time, but TRAI commercial-communication rules and client-brand risk mean “just dial harder” is not a strategy.
Legal outbound is a process, not a feature checkbox
For promotional calling into India, operators typically need:
- Registration and identity discipline on operator DLT ecosystems where applicable.
- Respect for DND / NCPR preferences unless a valid consent exception applies.
- Calling-hour windows (commonly aligned to daytime IST for promotional traffic).
- Documented consent and audit trails your client can defend.
Your dialer should make the unsafe path hard: suppression and eligibility gates before fire, attempt caps, and exportable skip reasons. VoxLink’s contact-attempt policy is designed as shared law across manual and predictive paths so a campaign cannot “cheat” around agent rules.
Right mode for the book
Large India floors often mix:
- Predictive for high-volume, lower-sensitivity outreach once sample sizes stabilize.
- Power / progressive for regulated financial, collections-sensitive, or low-headcount pods.
- Hybrid when the same seat group swings between inbound client SLAs and outbound productivity targets.
Under ~10 ready agents, true predictive math is usually unstable — progressive modes protect both abandon rate and agent morale.
Blended delivery for global clients
Many India programmes serve US, UK, EU, or African clients. That means:
- Client timezone calling hours on the lead, not only IST wall clocks.
- Inbound SLA protection for the client brand while outbound continues on other skills.
- Tenant isolation so Client A never sees Client B’s leads or recordings.
SLA-aware blending (inbound pressure vs outbound pressure) is especially valuable on these floors: you can prove to a London or Johannesburg client that ASA was protected without freezing every revenue dial for an entire hour.
The data India programme leads ask for
- Connect rate and abandon by campaign and hour (IST and client TZ).
- DNC/DND skip volumes and consent exceptions.
- Agent occupancy vs recovery — evidence the dialer is not burning the floor.
- Per-client KPI packs for MBR (right-party contact, PTP, AHT, transfer quality).
When that dataset is complete, “best dialer” stops being a logo contest and becomes an operations decision.
