Cutover
Five steps that actually work.
1. Keep your carrier
In Admin → Telephony pick “VICIdial carrier” or your SA SIP preset (Switch, Wanatel, Saicom, United Telecoms, Vox). Paste the same host, username, secret, and ACL IPs from VICIdial Admin → Carriers. Set Max channels to your real concurrent limit.
2. Add a failover trunk (optional)
Create a second connection with a higher failover priority. When the primary hits capacity or fails to originate, VoxLink tries the next trunk automatically — the VICIdial multi-carrier habit, without editing dialplans mid-shift.
3. Import the hopper
Export leads from VICIdial as CSV. Use Universal Lead Import — map phone, name, and custom fields. Contact protection (DNC, daily caps, fair rotation) runs before any predictive fire.
4. Map dial modes
Create campaigns in Power, Predictive, or Hybrid. Start the campaign only after Telephony readiness is green. Agents use the browser softphone (JsSIP) — Zoiper optional, not required.
5. Prove the floor
Book a demo with one live campaign. Compare talk time, abandon, and ASA under blend. Keep VICIdial warm until you cut over DIDs and agent habits.
